What a document page is for
A document is any piece of source material that deserves a readable home: a paper, a working note, a transcript, a reference list. The readable web page is the primary format. Where an original file exists (PDF or DOCX), it is offered as a download beneath the title.
How it differs from a doctrine
A doctrine follows a fixed six-part template — core statement, plain-language explanation, proposed mechanism, practical meaning, evidence status and open questions. A document is free-form: it is presented as written.

Labels
Every document carries one of three labels so the reader knows what kind of claim they are reading: creative doctrine, psychological guidance or scientific hypothesis. Reference material that makes no claim of its own is simply marked reference.
